Irvine W. Palmer

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend Irv W. Palmer. Irv passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021. A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

He was born, June 16, 1945, in Jamaica and migrated to United States. Irv was an influential engineer and businessman. He was a graduate of Milwaukee School of Engineering and UW-Whitewater. He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 33 years, Yvette Marcelle Palmer, his children: Gary (Ophelia) Palmer, Yolanda Jones-Solomon (Maxwell), Irvine Palmer Jr, Justin (Rolonda) Palmer, Dominique Palmer. Two step children: Churchill Caruthers and Chiara Caruthers. Ten beloved grandchildren: Kiarra, Trayvon, Tyrese, Tejhaun, Nyasia, Gabriella, Kimoni, Irvine III, Kaitlyn, and Sebastien; 2 brothers, 5 sisters; and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 3 sisters.

A viewing will be held on Friday, October 29th, 2021, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Krause Funeral Home, 7001 West Brown Deer Road. His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 30th, 2021, with a church viewing from 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM followed by the funeral Mass promptly at 11:00 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 4051 North 25th Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) to the Irv W. Palmer Memorial Scholarship.
