View Original NoticeFranco, Esteban

Esteban Franco passed away to eternal life on Tuesday, February 18th 2020, at his home in Milwaukee, WI at the age of 39.  Beloved son to Gloria Delgadillo (Arturo Gamino) and Juan Franco.  Beloved brother to Gabriela and Adan (Melissa) Franco.  Loving uncle to Elias.  Half-brother to Maribel Franco.

Esteban had many passions.  He loved art and expressed himself through different mediums.  The limitations his body endured never stifled his creativity.  He manifested his rebel spirit through drawing, airbrushing, graffiti art, and writing.

The love and concern Esteban showed for all in his life was never ending.  He would never let his own daily pains or mental obstacles stop him from sharing a smile or a hug.  Esteban battled to be master of his illness; resisting to give up the milestones he struggled to reach such as school, work, and independence.  He confronted his physical pain by getting tattoos and piercings which told chapters of his journey.  His strength passed onto others even while being cared for.

Esteban touched everyone in his life. The light of optimism and enthusiasm he held on to, and let shown, warmed all who knew him.  Esteban will be missed by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other family and friends.

Esteban’s family would like to thank all the medical staff at New York University, Froedtert and Children’s Hospitals for their many years of care and support.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd, at 12:30 PM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (605 South 4th Street) in Milwaukee.  A Mass celebrating his life to follow at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the MPS Society
