Harold Edgar Huettl

Harold Edgar Huettl, Wabeno, passed away September 6, 2018, hours shy of his 67th birthday at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau surrounded by his family. Harold was born on September 7, 1951, in Laona, Wisconsin, and was the son of Erhard and Joyce Huettl.
Harold owned and operated the Wildcat Den in Wabeno for nearly fifty years, serving family and friends, and enjoyed meeting new people. He always looked forward to the Tuesday evening quart night with closest patrons. He enjoyed karaoke, darts, bowling, cribbage, a good game of smear, sponsoring and serving the Freedom Wildcat baseball teams, hunting, Brewers, and those Green Bay Packers.
Harold is survived by two sons, Stephen (Jackie), Oak Creek, and Matthew (Jennifer), Germantown; grandchildren, Brady, Emma, Brianna, Nathan, Abigail and Christian; sisters Pat (Greg) Valley, Cindy (Mike) Miller, Marilyn (Tim) Tarlton, and Lois (Scott) Harris; brothers, Ken Huettl and Erhard (Tracy) Huettl, and step mother, Mary Huettl, all from Wabeno, several nieces and nephews, and his self claimed adopted son, Sam Skorczewski. He is preceded in death by parents, Erhard and Joyce Huettl, and brother, Don Huettl.
Harold was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wabeno. Harold was a kind, caring, loving man and will be dearly missed by his family and everyone who had the pleasure to meet and know him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 12th, 2018 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wabeno with service to follow with Pastor Cody Hauch officiating.
