Karen Jean Kinnear
age 73, of Butternut, died on Wednesday July 18, 2018 at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff. She was born on October 3, 1944 in Butternut, the daughter of Frank and Anita (Wegner) Kleinsteiber. Karen was a graduate of the Butternut High School and lifetime resident of Butternut. On December 29, 1962 she married John “Jack” Kinnear. She worked for Holiday Village, the Park Falls State Bank, the Park Falls Credit Union, and then Associated Bank. Karen was very active with her church, enjoyed musky fishing and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person who would help anyone in their time of need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Jacolyn Kempf, (2)brothers: Wayne Kleinsteiber and Bill Kleinsteiber, and (2)sisters: Bonnie Steiner and Joanne Springer.
A memorial service will be held on Monday July 23, 2018 at 11:00am from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butternut. Rev. John A. Deitz will officiate.
Interment will follow at Butternut Union Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
