Fence, Wis. – Frank Suardini, Jr., 89, of Fence,Wis., passed away Friday, June 23, 2017, at his home. He was born on December 2, 1927, in Princeton, Mich., son of the late Frank Sr. and Emilia (Dinco) Suardini. Frank served in the US Army from March 1946 until his honorable discharge in 1947. He married Beverly Pochart, on December 10, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wis. She preceded him in death on August 25, 2012. Frank worked for the A.O. Smith Frame Manufacturing Company, Milwaukee, Wis. as a press operator where he retired after 30 years. In 1992, Frank along with his wife Beverly moved to Fence, Wis. He was a member of the Sons of Italy Lodge, Arizona and enjoyed the outdoors and especially gardening. He is survived by one son, Frank (Debbie) Suardini, III, West Bend, Wis.; one daughter Karen (John) Matysik, Russell, Ill.; three grandchildren, Jason Matysik, Nicole (Scuffham) and Stacey Adams; four great-grandchildren, Delanie, Mariah, Noah and Jayden; one sister Fural (Louis) Ghiringhelli, Negaunee, Mich.; one brother-in-law David Haferkorn, Pewaukee, Wis. and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife Beverly, Frank was preceded in death by six brothers and six sisters. Visitation will be held, Saturday, July 1, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017, 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home, Rev. Doug Johnson will officiate. Entombment will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
