He had a huge following as a golf instructor and truly enjoyed teaching. He was most proud of his years working with numerous High School Golf teams. Bob was disappointed when his health interfered with his golf, but he continued to help golfers by being involved with the Crystal Spring Golf Course in Seymour, the Seymour Girls Golf Team and the Wandering Springs Golf Course close to DePere. Bob’s other interests were his German Shorthairs – Lexis and Landa. He loved taking his dogs hunting and was very proud that they became retrieving state champions. Bob was an excellent cook and many enjoyed his special recipes. Bob had many friends and great memories and stories of their times together, whether it be on golfing trips, deer or pheasant hunting or playing cribbage. He will be missed.
