WILLIAM “WILL” G. VOGT PLOVER, WISCONSIN Age 81, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born May 4, 1935 in Amherst, WI; son of William and Dora (Rosin) Vogt. Will graduated from Amherst High School in 1952. After graduating, he enlisted with the U.S. Marines and was honorably discharged. On June 14, 1958, Will married Virginia Podeszwa in Chicago, IL and together raised five children. He loved polka music and enjoyed playing his accordion. Will especially loved spending time with his family and all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and friends. Will is survived by: Wife: Virginia Vogt of Plover, WI Children: Bill (Sarah) Vogt of Waupaca, WI Tamarie (David) Juve of Wisconsin Rapids, WI Debra Wilde of Green Lake, WI Bruce (Laurie) Vogt of Round Lake, IL Brian (Anne) Vogt of Custer, WI Grandchildren: 14 Great-Grandchildren: 2 Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dora Vogt, and three sisters, Lillian, Eleanor, and Dorothy. A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover, WI. Pastor Scott Wolfram will officiate. A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, Sept. 7, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst. The Jungers-Holly Funeral Home of Amherst is assisting the family with arrangements.
