DAVID E. SCHUSTER WILD ROSE, WISCONSIN Age 85, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Preston Place under hospice care in Redgranite, WI. He was born June 9, 1931 in Berlin, WI; son of Francis G. and Marion (Wallace) Schuster and was Baptized into the body of Jesus Christ on June 14, 1931 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Berlin, WI. David graduated from Berlin High School in 1949. Following high school, he farmed in the Omro area for many years and also worked as a custodian for the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh campus. On May 1, 1993, David married Alta M. Reehl at Grace Lutheran Church in Omro, WI. He enjoyed farming, trips to the woods, cutting firewood, gardening, feeding and watching the birds, and watching the Packers. David was a very kind and caring man, and he will be deeply missed by his loving wife and family. David is survived by: Wife: Alta Schuster of Wild Rose, WI Children: Christine (Griff) Coxey of Cascade, WI Connie (Joe) Wenhardt of Longmont, CO Michael Schuster of Wild Rose, WI Patrick Schuster of Fond du Lac, WI Grandchildren: 6 Great-Grandchildren: 4 with one on the way Brother: Kenneth (Sharon) Schuster of Berlin, WI Brother-in-law: Irwin Jenkins of Dalton, WI He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Marion Schuster; his first wife, Margaret Schuster; one daughter, Patricia Brown; one son, Peter Schuster; and a sister, Marion Jenkins. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, N4494 State Highway 49, Poy Sippi, WI. Reverend Mark Meier, Sr. will officiate. A visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the church. Burial will be at the Omro Cemetery in Omro, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the name of David E. Schuster. The Holly Funeral Home of Poy Sippi is assisting the family with arrangements. A special thank-you to Dr. Shattuck and his staff, and to David’s wonderful caregivers at Juliette Manor, Preston Place, and Southern Care Hospice for their care and compassion given to our family. Also, we would like to thank Reverend Mark Meier, Sr. from Emmaus Ev. Lutheran Church for his guidance and strength given to our family throughout the years. The special care David received will never be forgotten. We look forward to seeing David with Christ in the Resurrection of all flesh.
