Henry R. Konczak, age 62, of Almond, WI passed away suddenly on Monday, June 20, 2016. Henry was born in Belgium on March 3, 1954, the son of Tadeusz and Mary (Dzieciol) Konczak. On June 21, 1980, Henry married Susan Warzynski at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Heffron. Henry had worked at Hillshire Farms in New London for many years, retiring in March of this year. He loved hunting and fishing. He is a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Henry is survived by his wife: Susan Konczak, Almond; his children: Emmy (Zak) Zeug, Rosemont, MN; Jesse (Kristen) Konczak, Custer, WI and Vincent (Tanya) Konczak, Sanford, NC; his grandchildren: Ty and Lily Zeug and Lyla Konczak; his mother: Mary Konczak, Almond; his sisters: Miroslawa (Joe) Esposito, Mountain Home, AR and Ursula (Randy) Swain, Broken Arrow, OK. Henry is also survived by many brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Tadeusz; a sister, Lillian; a grandson, Grady; nephews, Dino Risten, Stefan Nowak, and Shaun Esposito, a niece, Monica Volino and a brother-in-law, Terry Warzynski. The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, June 27 at 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Town of Buena Vista with Father Jim Trempe, presiding. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Town of Belmont. Visitation will be on Monday morning from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Henry’s name. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond is assisting the family with arrangements.
